First Day!

Well, today is my first day of my 28 day detox. I'm using this blog mainly just to keep tabs on myself, and to keep myself motivated during these four weeks. This is not going to be an easy task, but I think I'll be able to do it. :)

I'm starting out my first week with an Antioxidant Smoothie, instead of the "Green Smoothie" I was going to drink. I figured I might as well drink something semisweet to start it off so I'm not diving headfirst towards failure.

I'm hoping for many things on this detox. Mainly, for more energy and feeling healthier. And yes, weight loss, but that is a very nice side effect of this detox. There is six main things I cannot eat while on this detox: Processed food/beverages, processed sugar, dairy, gluten, caffeine, and alcohol. Now, quite honestly, the last two don't bother me too much. I could care less about not drinking energy drinks and coffee, and I don't drink alcohol very much anyways. BUT, the first four are going to kill me! I work two jobs, so I eat whatever and whenever I can. So, it will definitely be a good change to not eat all that crap, but it is still going to suck.

Well, I'll post later with all my measurements and whatnot. Let's start this detox off right!!!
